I wanted to update you all on the latest solar panel I built. I know this may sound crazy when you think about how much retail solar panel systems cost …but I can build a professional quality solar panel for right around $100 now! In fact, it was $106.37.
When I built this solar panel I used all new, high quality parts – and followed some simple instructions and in about 2 ½ hours I was done! It’s amazing how cheap and easy this process has become recently. I guarantee that once more people start seeing how easy and cheap this is – the retail solar panel companies are going to begin to worry because more and more people will just built their own instead of paying for their overpriced panels.
Literally, the whole process took about 2 ½ hours, cost $106.37 in parts, and I was done!
And the cool thing about this particular solar panel is that it will pay itself off in the 1st month because of the money it will save me on electrical costs. And now that I’ve built many solar panels; I’ve got this solar panel building process down to a point that it’s becoming second nature to me – and I’m even finding cheaper and cheaper ways to build solar panels the more I do it (most of these techniques I found in the new course I just used).
Seriously though …$106.37! That’s pretty darn good for a solar panel unit that is just as good as the commercially sold ones (that would cost 10x that). And this solar panel unit will quickly pay for itself when it saves me on my electricity costs–so it’s a very worthwhile project.
If you’re someone like me that is interested in in lowering your energy bills, being more self-reliant, and lessening your dependence on the energy monopolies and are countries old and archaic energy grid …why not build your own solar panels like I have? It’s fun, cheap, and easy! …and it will save you a whole lot of money on your energy costs!

This is incredible, Joe. Thanks for the update. I appreciate your help with everything.
Good stuff. I built mine for under $110 also.
Hi Joe, How and where do I get the info you talk about?
Hi Kevin, I used the DIY Home Energy System. It’s a step-by-step course with videos and guides that show you exactly how to do everything. It’s really well done and quite easy to follow. If you’re interested you can watch a presentation about it here I believe: http://DIYhomeEnergy.com/System/video
