Solar panels are becoming more and more popular in recent years. And while most people want to use solar panels because of the obvious benefits they provide (i.e. lower energy bills, more energy independence and self-reliance, etc.); the problem is that retail solar panels are typically way too expensive for most people to afford. In fact, it will take over a decade (on average) to make up the initial cost of a retail solar panel system with the energy savings it will provide. For most people, this is far too long to wait because the initial investment into the solar panel system is so expensive.
However, there is good news! It is now possible to make professional quality homemade solar panels and drastically lower the initial cost. New technology and cheaper parts now make this possible. You just have to know where to get the inexpensive; yet, high quality/new parts from – and you need an easy to follow guide or course to show you what to do step-by-step! For example, with the instructions I used I was able to build and set up my solar panel in less than 2 hours.
And because homemade solar panels now make the initial investment into a solar panel system about 10x cheaper than it used to – it is now possible for many more homeowners and renters to use solar panels to lower their energy costs and become more energy independent -but without the large initial cost that was once required.
Anyone can see why this is such a huge benefit; however, some may wonder whether making homemade solar panels is hard, time consuming or technical. But the good news is it’s actually pretty easy (and fun)! I can tell you this with certainty because I have built many homemade solar panels myself. I am not a builder, an electrician or a handyman by any means! I’m just a normal guy who wanted to lower my energy bills, reduce my dependence on the energy companies and make my family and I more energy independent/self-reliant.
Two other common questions people may have after they see how inexpensive it is to make their own solar panels is: (1) Do solar panels require a lot of maintenance and (2) are there any ongoing costs with solar panels? And the good news again is – there is next to no maintenance for solar panels and there are no significant costs after you purchase the parts for your solar panels.
Solar panels don’t have any moving parts and they use one of the most (if not the most) reliable form of energy; solar energy. So there’s not a whole lot you have to do after the solar panels are set up. You basically just set up the solar panels once and then enjoy the free energy it produces for a lifetime! Talk about a great investment into your future!
So why not make your own homemade solar panels and start experiencing some of these amazing benefits yourself?

It’s amazing how far this technology has come in the past few years. Before quality homemade solar panels became a reality, solar panels used to be way to expensive for me.
Thanks for your help and inspiration my friend. I didn’t even know I could do this until you showed me. I’ve built 3 solar panels so far!
So cool.
I’ve connected 4 solar panel units now. I plan on building my 5th tomorrow too.
It doesn’t get better than homemade solar panels like this.
